What is Mindfulness ?

Mindfulness is a principal stemming out of Buddhist practices that help the mind relax and reflect which helps an individual gain greater awareness and understanding of themselves and the world. Mindfulness helps an individual see the true understanding of a situation, problem, or event by changing the perspective an individual views it from. Many people find they gain empathy and compassion for others around them through the regular practice of mindfulness as well as many other physical benefits.

some of the physical benefits of mindfulness are

1. stress management- people who practice mindfulness tend to have a higher threshold for stress and stressful situations. people who gain ability to stop negative thoughts through mindfulness help individuals to reduce the feeling of stress in their body

2. higher self esteem- people who practice mindfulness tend to have a feeling of higher greatness and a full belief that they can accomplish anything they want on their own and see solutions rather than problems in their life.

3. greater energy and enthusiasm- people who have a practice of relaxation and quieting the mind tend to find themselves more energetic throughout the day and a love for learning and new activities. This has been linked to the ability to find peace in any situation as well as the belief in their own abilities.

4. improved sleep and health- one of the main causes for lack of sleep is restlessness, which is the opposite of mindfulness. the inability to stop thinking can cause people to have trouble sleeping and staying asleep throughout the night. The practice of controlling your thoughts and feelings will allow for a more controlled dreaming pattern and allow a person to fall asleep more easily.

Now, you may be asking how you can practice mindfulness. Well the first step is learning to control thoughts. Many find meditation as a great way to find control of there thoughts. yet, so many of us need ways to control thoughts during daily activities as well. I find focusing on my breathing for a few minutes at a time a good way to push out the thoughts for a few moments in time. Prayer is also a great form of mindfulness (as long as you can let go afterwards) and music therapy is a great way to change your mood suddenly and start to create positive rather than negative thoughts.

Law of Abundance 2 Ways to Honestly cash In

The law of abundance states simply that there is more than enough to go around for everyone. Many of us believe that there is a limited supply of everything in the world that we may want. For example we think are needs are like an endangered animal and whatever we want we better get now because it may become extinct. yet, the truth of the matter is we are always multiplying as people and creating more and more of everything this equates to abundance not lack! Now, there are more people to help, more people who buy, more people to love, more opportunities and more people to enjoy experiences with.

In fact did you know abundance was described as a great and plentiful amount and it is one of the irrefutable laws of the universe same as gravity. I doubt anyone in the world would argue with the law of gravity it exists and it works.  Yet, cashing in can be difficult and here are some ways you may be able to start using this law to make your life better each day… Here are the two things you need to change to change the way abundance treats you…

1. Stop wanting- Feel as if you know it is there and this is easier than you think. Instead of Begging and pleading for what you desperately need to make you happy act-as if until you get it and use letting go activities. I even recommend studying the Buddhist views of letting go until you finally feel free. When you first remember gaining something you thought was impossible i bet it was as soon as you were “over it” or didn’t feel like you wanted it anymore. The reason is longing brings about the feeling of not having something and that will keep your need or happiness just beyond reach.

2. enjoy what you have- being grateful is a rare trait amongst everyone. to honestly appreciate everything abundance has already brought you in life will bring you more and more. The universe brings us the same situations, people, and things over and over. The reason is so we can achieve more and create a better life. if you learn what has been attracted to yo u and how it is beneficial you will learn and have more abundance.

Pursuit Of Happiness

Thomas Jefferson said that all Americans have the right to the pursuit of happiness? Many people I speak to will explain to me that this is a great sign that happiness is false and happiness is an endless quest that no one ever finds. I am here to tell you that these people are false in some ways. I will agree that most people who seek happiness in life never find it and there are simple reasons for never reaching the level of peace all humans are meant to feel in their soul.

First of all, Most of us are conditioned as children to tow the line and through the media, others opinions, the people closest to us like our parents and teachers that happiness comes from money and money is hard to attain. I am here to tell people that money is infinite and easy to attain if you have the courage to go after it. None of us were meant to live a life of wanting and longing for the things we desire. Instead we are meant to create new things, ideas and circumstances that will allow us to express ourselves and money should be the afterthought. although, most of us are taught to be realistic, work hard, and put our own desires aside. I know every day i am typically even now told to grow up by the people who supposedly care the most. I am here telling you not to grow up instead grow wiser and create more.

Next, happiness comes from within us and no one will find it from any object or person. So many people are taught that stability with a job, a husband or wife, a big house or car will be what makes them happy. often this is never enough to truly fulfill a person. yet, getting to know yourself and loving who you are greatly will allow you to become a person who has love to give and can be what we often here as a whole person.

Lastly, happiness is true freedom and anyway your soul can achieve that it will strive for. Nobody can be happy without a sense of freedom in what they do and what they want to do. No one wants or likes to be told what to do and in time we all rebel from those who try to control us. This could be your boss, your parents, your partner, etc…

To conclude what the pursuit of happiness should be for everyone is the ability to create and have money to do what you wish with it, to be secure with who you are accepting and love yourself no matter what, and finally having freedom to so what you want at all times and be in control of your own world. Getting these three things is true happiness and each person needs to start recreating their world to gain each one of these three pursuits. That will make you happy.
